Terms of Service
Welcome to Jerry. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and the makers of Jerry. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The app is currently in early beta, distributed via Apple's TestFlight and the App Store. We've kept these Terms short and direct so you can actually read them. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Jerry is built by an independent team of two people, Eden Levy and Erez Dagan. You can reach us at erez@jerryapp.io.
2. What Jerry does
Jerry is an iOS app that helps you save, analyze and organize content — social media posts, web links, screenshots, voice memos, and PDFs — with the help of AI. You save content into the app, and Jerry uses AI to analyze it, pull out useful details, and let you search and chat across your own library.
3. Who can use Jerry
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jerry. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding agreement with us.
4. Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else is using it.
5. The content you save
- It stays yours. You keep ownership of the content you save into Jerry. You give us permission to store, copy, and process it only as needed to provide the app to you (for example, saving a copy so it loads quickly, and sending it to our AI provider for analysis).
- You're responsible for it. Only save content you have the right to save, for your own personal use. Don't use Jerry to store or process content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you're not allowed to keep a copy of.
- Third-party content. Posts and pages you save belong to the people or platforms that created them. Jerry helps you save and organize that content for personal use; it doesn't give you any new rights over it.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use Jerry for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Try to break, overload, or get around the app's limits, security, or the systems it runs on.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the app or its underlying technology.
- Use the app to harvest data at scale or to build a competing product.
- Upload malware, or attempt to gain access to accounts or data that aren't yours.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. AI-generated content
Jerry uses AI to analyze your content and answer your questions. AI can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Don't rely on it as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise), and double-check anything important before you act on it.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Jerry offers optional paid subscriptions. Purchases are made through your Apple App Store account, and Apple's standard license terms also apply to them. A few things to know:
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings, not inside Jerry.
- Payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms — we can't process refunds directly.
- We may change subscription features or prices; if we do, we'll give you notice and any change applies to future billing periods, not past ones.
9. Third-party services
Jerry relies on third-party services to work (for example, AI, data, analytics, and hosting providers — listed in our Privacy Policy). We're not responsible for those services' own content, availability, or terms.
10. The app is provided “as is”
Jerry is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, especially during beta. We do our best, but we don't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or that AI results will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that aren't expressly stated here.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the makers of Jerry aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for any loss of data or content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Jerry and delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, tell you inside the app. Continuing to use Jerry after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, it will be handled by the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
